The Solution To All Your Chroming Needs
THE BASE COATING PROCESS
Base coating is the most critical part of this whole process.

Clean air, clean spray gun, clean environment and proper lighting is extremely crucial in
how your end result will come out.

You do not need an expensive spray booth to achieve a good job, but you do need to pay
attention to detail.

Our suggestion to you is to start on smaller practice pieces before taking on larger
projects so that you can get the feel of the process.  There is a learning curve to this
process just like with anything else.  Inexperienced sprayers may run into even more
frustrations, but the end results of your efforts will prove fruitful and rewarding!

First, mix base coat as directed and apply a nice even, thin, wet coat.  Make sure there
are no dry looking areas on each coat applied.  Apply two to three coats until smooth
glass-like appearance  is achieved, allowing 10 - 20 minutes between each coat.
Drying Parameters:
Let set for 30 minutes and bake at 145 degrees for one and a half hours.
To force dry:
To air dry:
Minimum of 24 hours at 70 degrees.
* Note:  conditions including temperature and humidity will vary dry times.
If force dried, allow thirty minutes to cool before beginning the plating process.
